Anchorage, Alaska - GeoNorth (www.geonorth.com), one of the nation's premier Information Technology custom application solutions providers, has just announced the hiring of several new key personnel as additions to their staff of onsite managers and developers.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a minor in MIS from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Anne DuCharme has accepted the position of Project Manager with GeoNorth, having held her most recent position as Network Project Manager with Verizon Wireless. John Carlson, formerly a Sr. Programmer/Analyst with Pango Media, has now assumed the same title with GeoNorth. Mr. Carlson holds a BS in Computing and Software Systems from the University of Washington, Bothell.
Matt Dillon has also joined GeoNorth with a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, as well as a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, also from UAF. Remaining in UAF’s program, Mr. Dillon is currently in the process of concluding his Masters in Computer Science. Coming from Golder Associates, Inc. as a Staff Geotechnical Engineer, Mr. Dillon is now one of GeoNorth’s new Web Application Developers.
Peter Kudenov, a former Programmer/Analyst with Surveyor’s Exchange, has recently hired in with GeoNorth under the same title. Mr. Kudenov has a Masters of Arts and English from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, and a Bachelors of Arts and English, also from UAA. In 2012, Mr. Kudenov was awarded the Graduate Research Award for English, and the Dru Whitaker Presentation Award at the PacRim Conference for Literature and Rhetoric, both from, and sponsored by, UAA. And finally, as a former University of Alaska Computer Science Lab Instructor, Josh Tester, has accepted the position of Web Application Developer, coming to GeoNorth with a BS in Computer Science from UAA.
