Bartlett 27, Service 7
Bartlett’s Keira Stokes had a hand in all four of her team’s touchdowns Saturday in a 27-7 win over Service in a Cook Inlet Conference flag football game at Dimond Alumni Field.
Stokes threw touchdown passes of 30 and 15 yards, respectively, to Tala Lauvale and Amber Andrews, rushed 18 yards for a touchdown and returned an interception 20 yards for a touchdown.
The Golden Bears led 27-0 before Service got on the scoreboard with Keaira Caldarera’s touchdown reception with about five minutes remaining.
Dimond 33, Chugiak 0
Vanessa Tufaga rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns Saturday to power Dimond’s 33-0 shutout of Chugiak in a CIC game Saturday night at Dimond Alumni Field.
Tufaga carried the ball 15 times and reached the end zone on runs of 19, 5 and 1 yards. She contributed on defense too, with a team-high seven pulls.
Tara Thompson rushed for 47 yards on seven carries, including touchdown runs of 15 and 1 yards.
Abby Corral made five pulls and Lauren Hess came up with an interception and a pull to help the Lynx run their record to 3-0.
