Letter: Veterans looking for some help

September 3, 2013

The Last Frontier Honor Flight has a full flight of WWII veterans going to Washington, D.C., in October. Leave on Oct. 22, return on Oct. 27. This is a trip of a life time,  and for many of our WWII vets this could be their last mission.

We are looking for guardians to accompany them to assist with their every need. The WWII vets fly for free, guardians are asked to pay their own airfare. So if you are interested in doing something for our “Greatest Generation” call Ron Travis at 907-892-6097.

If you know a WWII, Territorial Guard or Korean war vet, have them get in touch to get their name on the list. Our goal is to fly all that are able.
