The public is invited to the open house

ANCHORAGE—U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services invites the public to enjoy an open house event at their office, 3-4 p.m. at 620 Tenth Avenue, Suite 102 on Sept. 5. Three events are planned for that day, the first two specially arranged for newspeople.

At the open house, starting at three, staff will be conducting office tours, and will demonstrate the use of the Infopass system for those who’d like to make themselves an appointment to meet with an officer. They’ll hand out study guide materials for the citizenship test, and answer visitors’ questions. It’s an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the office that interviews applicants for citizenship and residency, and helps people adopt a child from another country.
