Grace, Service, South, Dimond and East were winners on the volleyball court Tuesday

Grace 3, Houston 0

Behind eight kills and five blocks from Krista Green, the Grace volleyball team swept Houston 25-21, 25-11, 25-17 in a road match Tuesday.

Annie Vanderweide chipped in five kills and nine digs for the Grizzlies, with Felicity Roe contributing 12 assists and 11 digs.

Service 3, Eagle River 0

Alyssa Flynn led the Service volleyball team to a 25-12, 25-12, 25-7 sweep of host Eagle River on Tuesday in a Cook Inlet Conference match.

Flynn finished with seven kills and five aces to go with six kills and two aces from Tayleigh Talmadge and five blocks from Morgan Christy.

Eagle River's Kara Viotto recorded three blocks and two kills, Paige Ardizzon notched three digs and Kyla Meadows came up with two kills and a block.

South 3, Chugiak 0

South's Kayla Sims dished 27 assists Tuesday and the Wolverines cruised to a 25-20, 25-9, 25-20 sweep of visiting Chugiak in a CIC volleyball match.

South's Holly Morehouse blasted 11 kills and Tatum Upchurch slammed nine. Aspen Avery served four aces for the Wolverines.

Sara Rutz turned in 15 digs and 3 aces for the Mustangs, who got eight kills and three blocks from Rachel Gregg.

Dimond 3, West 0

Stellar serving from Royhn Huss put the Dimond volleyball team on the path to victory Tuesday in the first set of a 26-24, 25-21, 25-16 win over visiting West.

West started strong in the CIC match, racing to a 24-10 lead in the first set. That's when Huss, who finished with eight aces, six kills and 11 digs, took over serving and led the Lynx to 16 straight points.

Leah Swiss and Chrisalyn Johnson notched 11 kills apiece for Dimond, Swiss adding 17 digs and Johnson turning in nine. Jenna Mixson handed out 17 assists and Heide Andrus produced 12 digs.

East 3, Bartlett 1

Getting 19 assists from Mafi Makihele and 12 kills from Morgan Hill, East defeated host Bartlett 25-23, 20-25, 25-16, 25-12 in a CIC volleyball match Tuesday night.

Sydney Smith hit for nine kills for the T-birds, and Jaya Bannarbie came up with six digs.

Bartlett's Autumn Plews and Fia Manu each racked seven kills, and Savannah Sahara contributed four blocks and three kills.
