West rolls past Bartlett in tennis

West didn’t surrender a point in three matches in a 9-0 blanking of Bartlett in a Cook Inlet Conference tennis meet Friday.

Quentin Bidwell in boys singles, Flurina Boslough in girls singles and the team of Kalena Weimer and Bailey Smith in girls doubles all posted 6-0, 6-0 wins for the Eagles.

Boys singles 1 — Quentin Bidwell (W) d Jerry Vongkoth (B) 6-0, 6-0. Boys singles 2 — Sean Mahoney (W) won by default. Girls singles 1 — Ellen Silverman (W) d Cheryl Anspach (B) 6-3, 6-0. Girls singles 2 — Flurina Boslough (W) d Sophia Lay (B) 6-0, 6-0. Boys doubles 1 — Remy Libbrecht/Daniel Jones (W) d Max Soto/Nathan Mitchell (B) 6-0, 6-3. Boys doubles 2 — Kyle Winkler/Dillon Oberly (W) won by default. Girls doubles 1 — Katie Brown/Juliet Green (W) d Jessica Romero/Kiana Mitchell (B) 6-1, 6-1.
