Just an exhibition game, sure, but Dubinsky is sizzling

The Blog gets it -- it's only the NHL exhibition season, so no need to get too wound up.

Still, Columbus Blue Jackets center Brandon Dubinsky of Anchorage -- Aces alum, yo! -- is cranking it up in the fake season.

Today, he bagged a goal and three helpers, and went +5, in a 5-3 win at Pittsburgh. Dubinsky, who earlier this preseason racked a three-assist game, logged 21:11 of ice time, the most among forwards in the game. More than four minutes of that came in penalty-killing duty.

He added three hits and won 8 of 16 draws.
