South 6, Dimond 3

South won all five doubles matches Saturday to post a 6-3 win over Dimond in a Cook Inlet Conference tennis meet.

Shruti Vadapari gave South its only singles victory with her 6-2, 6-1 win.

Service 6, Chugiak 3 

The Service mixed doubles team of Huiling Zhao and Matthew Stone recorded the only shutout Saturday in Service’s 6-3 CIC tennis victory over Chugiak. 

The duo claimed a 6-0, 6-0 win over Chugiak’s  Izzy LaRue and Logan Bonney. 

On Friday, Chugiak edged Eagle River 5-4.

West 9, E. River 0

The West Eagles won all nine matches, three by default, to claim a 9-0 victory over Eagle River in a CIC tennis meet Saturday.

Reed Lekander and Alli Haynes furnished wins for West in the boys No. 1 singles match and the girls No. 1 singles match, respectively.
