Denali Alaskan Home Loans hires Loyd

Anchorage – Sasha Loyd joins Denali Alaskan Home Loans as a senior loan originator. Loyd joins a team of eight experienced loan originators located in Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley, and will be originating loans at the main Denali Alaskan Home Loans office located at 471 W. 36th Avenue, Suite 110 in Anchorage.

Loyd has over eight years in the mortgage industry. Prior to joining the Denali Alaskan Home Loans team, Loyd worked for Residential Mortgage. Loyd holds an Associate of Arts in Business.

In other credit union news, Michelle Felix was promoted to senior marketing officer and Whitney Tillman was promoted to marketing officer at Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union. In this role, Felix is responsible for organizing social media, managing the Credit Union’s financial education program, and working internally with various departments at the Credit Union.

Prior to assuming this new position, Felix worked in the Credit Union’s Marketing department as a Marketing Officer, as well as in the Internal Audit department and Branch Operations.  She brings more than eight years of financial experience and four years of marketing experience to her new position.

Felix is a University of Alaska Southeast graduate with a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.  Felix also holds a Mediation Certificate and Social Media Strategist Certification. She is a member of the Marketing Association of Credit Unions and Golden Key International Honour Society.

In her new role, Tillman is responsible for communications with Select Employer Groups, and works with the Credit Union’s Member Contact Center, Human Resources, ATM, Investment Services and Lending Center departments. .

Tillman joined the Credit Union in 2005 and has worked in the Marketing department since 2012.  She attended the University of Alaska Anchorage and has a BA in Journalism and Public Communications.
