Coalition conference set for next week

— The annual conference of the Alaska Coalition on Housing and Homelessness will be Wednesday and Thursday at the Anchorage Marriott Hotel.

The coalition is a statewide organization working to increase the availability of affordable housing and eliminate homelessness in Alaska.

The conference provides training, learning and networking opportunities, as well as opportunities for finding solutions through dialogue. The conference is designed for social service providers, administrators, housing developers, government representatives and the business sector.

Scholarships and travel assistance are available through the support of the Alaska Housing Finance Corp. and the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority.
