UAF pumps British Columbia, 8-1, in exhibition

One night after UAA beat British Columbia 2-1 in an exhibition, rival UAF torched the Thunderbirds 8-1.

Cody Kunyk and Colton Beck each delivered three-point nights for the Nanooks -- Kunyk struck for two goals and added a helper, and Bech bagged a goal and two assists. Defenseman Colton Parayko had two assists.

UAF used three goalies. The Nanooks outshot the T-birds, 37-24, before a crowd of 2,331 at the Carlson Center.
