Letter: Voice mail solves the problem

October 9, 2013

Julia O’Malley believes that the answer to stopping the compulsion to use your cellphone while driving is difficult. It’s not. Turn it off when you enter your vehicle. Simple as that. Then there is no ringing or vibration or other distraction. Just concentrate on your driving. That’s why we have voice mail and those cute little message numbers waiting for us when we turn the device back on when we exit the vehicle. Problem solved.
