UAA gets recruit from Alberta league in Minnesota forward Jake Larson

Posted by DOYLE WOODY, adn.com on October 10, 2013

UAA has secured another recruit for next season in Minnesota native Jake Larson, a 19-year-old forward who currently leads the Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League in scoring -- that info comes from collegecommitments.com and the Alberta league, and Chris Heisenberg's site, so seems like solid info.

Larson, from St. Michael, Minn., is a left-shooting 5-11, 160-pound forward who owns 4-10--14 totals in 11 games this season.

Last season, Larson was the Rookie of the Year in the Superior International Junior Hockey League. In 49 games for the Minnesota Wilderness, he led the circuit in goals and finished second in points with 44-28--72 totals.
