Aces trim 3 from training camp

Posted by DOYLE WOODY, adn.com on October 11, 2013

The first cuts of Alaska Aces training camp arrived today, with one defenseman, one goaltender and one forward released.

Gone are blueliner Matt Ridley, winger Casey Mignone and local goalie Micah Perletti (he was helping out and wasn't really in the mix -- he and the Aces were doing each other a solid for the second straight training camp).

That leaves the Aces with 25 guys in camp (if The Blog's always sketchy math is to be believed) -- 13 forwards, nine defensemen and three goals.
