Corrections: 10/20/13

October 19, 2013

A front-page story Thursday incorrectly reported that no arrests have been made in two fatal hit-and-run accidents involving pedestrians in 2011. Police have made an arrest in the April 2011 death of Hubert Tunuchuk.

A story on page A3 Saturday about a proposal by Mayor Dan Sullivan's administration to reduce health care costs misstated the number of medical insurance plans offered by the city of Anchorage. The number is nine, not five. The story also incorrectly reported the title of Eric Tuott, an official with the city firefighters union. Tuott is the vice president of the union, not the secretary.
