Letter: Circus starts again in January

AnchorageOctober 20, 2013

The government shutdown debacle once again proves there isn’t a nickle’s worth of difference between the Republicans and Democrats. … I have to ask the question … Since Mitch McConnell (R-KY) got $2.9B in pork to buy his support for the bill. … What “PORK” did Lisa, Mark and Don get for Alaska to buy their votes? The politicians have voted themselves out of Social Security, Obama bought their support by opting them out of Obamacare while the American masses must comply with this “TAX” (defined by the political appointees known as the Supreme Court) or be fined. Where does it say in the Constitution that Americans have to buy insurance? America has been sold out and turned into a third rate country by an inept and self-serving government that continues to raise the debt ceiling so we can borrow ourselves into a third world toilet that will eventually be flushed by our creditors. The deal is only good through January when the circus get’s to start again and the politicians can tell us the sky is falling.
