UAA adds another recruit at forward

Posted by DOYLE WOODY, on October 23, 2013

Matt Thomas and staff have been extremely active on the recruiting front in his first season as UAA head coach, and now the Seawolves have landed another forward recruit.

According to Chris Heisenberg's excellent recruiting site, UAA has received a commitment from Austin Azurdia of the BCHL's Langley Rivermen.

Azurdia, 20, owns 7-4--11 totals in 16 games this season after going 18-17--35 for the Rivermen in 53 games last season.

He's listed at 6-foot, 180 pounds, and he's from Wenatchee, Wash.

The Seawolves previously this fall received commitments from goaltender Olivier Mantha, forward Anthony Conti and forward Cameron Amantea, all of the BCHL's Penticton Vees; from forward Jake Larson of the AJHL's Brooks Bandits
