Commonwealth North sets a meeting focused on major Alaska energy projects

On November 13th, Commonwealth North will host an independent panel of experts to discuss the status of major energy projects in Alaska that have received significant state funding. The panel will address the current status of these projects and the key decision points and hurdles these projects face on the way to completion.

The major energy projects to be discussed are:

Alaska South Central LNG Project (North Slope producer-led large-volume gas pipeline)

Alaska Stand Alone Gas Pipeline (State-sponsored smaller-volume gas pipeline)

Alaska Interior Energy Plan (North Slope to Fairbanks LNG trucking)

Susitna-Watana hydroelectric project

Cook Inlet gas exploration (State investments and tax credits)
