Fire investigators are looking for a male suspect and a female witness in a Mountain View arson early Wednesday morning, according to the Anchorage Fire Department.

The department received a report of a fire at 1:11 a.m. on the roof of a strip mall at 131 Bragaw St., and dispatched 12 units, according to an email from fire department spokesman Al Tamagni Jr.

The crews found smoke and fire originating from neighboring business, Cash Alaska, located at 3920 Mountain View Dr., where the roof has minor damage, according to the fire department.

Tamagni said no one was in the building at the time of the fire.

The department distributed photos from the surveillance camera of Cash Alaska of a person described as the suspect and one witness.
