Letter: Pick those who are for the people

October 24, 2013

Elections are closing in on us and I would like to express some of the things I think we all need to consider. Did the people whom we chose to represent us truly represent us or did things to please themselves? Do they use the position they have been elected to for the good of the people or for the good of their party or their pockets? Time for us to forget who is popular and goes with their party and choose those who show they are for the people.

Also, here in Anchorage, we the people need to make sure that those in charge of elections are totally prepared to handle election turnouts and stop deciding how many people get to vote. Print enough ballots.
