Flyers loan McGinn, Hartnell could return

The Sports NetworkOctober 25, 2013

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Philadelphia Flyers loaned forward Tye McGinn to the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League on Friday.

The roster move likely means that forward Scott Hartnell may return from an upper body injury that had him sidelined for the last two weeks.

McGinn was originally recalled by the club on Oct. 12. He has appeared in the last four games with the Flyers, posting three goals. His three points were good enough for a tie for second on the team, trailing only Brayden Schenn's team-leading five points.

Hartnell appeared in the first five games for the Flyers, failing to record a point.
