Prep riflery: Results from Friday's CIC meets

Devon shines for Dimond

Chelsy Devon of Dimond posted perfect scores in two of the three stages Friday to lead all shooters at a Cook Inlet Conference riflery meet between Dimond and East.

Devon fired 100s in the prone and kneeling positions to finished with a 291 out of a possible 300.

Five other Dimond shooters fired 280 or better, including Maddy Friedl with a 288, to help the Lynx score 3,326 points and beat East in the team competition.

Milne, Wood share win

South’s Kyle Milne and West’s Willy Wood shared individual honors Friday, shooting identical scores of 282 in a CIC riflery meet at West.

South, which also got a 281 from Bryce Schwarz, claimed a 94-point win in the team standings.

Noble triumphs for West

West’s Marina Noble was the top shooter with a 287, including a perfect 100 in  prone, to lead West past Chugiak in a CIC riflery meet Friday at Chugiak

Erin Brayfield also shot a 100 in prone for West, finishing with a 282.
