Anchorage under high wind warning part of Sunday, gusts of 80 mph

Update, Sunday 8 a.m.: The warning has been canceled.

he Anchorage area could see winds howling between 50 to 65 mph with gusts up to 80 mph Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

From 2 a.m. to noon, Eagle River, Indian, Eklutna and Anchorage, Turnagain Arm and high-elevation locations , will be under a high wind warning, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather service says travel may be difficult and suggests people tie down loose property.
