Corrections (10/27/13)

October 27, 2013

A story on Page B-1 of Sunday's Daily News incorrectly reported that 40,000 Alaskans could obtain Medicare for the first time if the state expanded the Medicaid program. It should have said Medicaid. The story also listed states that had a well-functioning Marketplace website for their residents to enroll in insurance policies. Oregon shouldn't have been listed among them. While Oregon has been enrolling thousands of people into its expanded Medicaid program, the Marketplace website has only been able to provide information on private insurance, not actual policies, and is not likely to be fully functioning for insurance enrollment until November, officials there have said.
