Adoption of the week: Meet Rocky

October 30, 2013

Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of Brooke Taylor, AACCC public relations coordinator.

SPECIAL ADOPTER NEEDED!  Please meet Rocky, a 10 year old, neutered male, Rottweiler mix. Super friendly, easy-going and good-natured, Rocky is still active and curious. He enjoys his outings, handles great on leash, and loves being with people. He likes head rubs and petting, leisurely walks, and just hanging out together. Knows "shake", sits politely for his treats and takes them very gently. He has a limp on one front paw which may be arthritis--but should be checked out by a vet. Sweet, gentle, and really wants to please, this handsome guy makes a wonderful companion! Rocky can be adopted for only $42, as he is already neutered and current on vaccinations, which includes his MOA dog license and microchip!

Adoption update: Fudge and Chip were adopted together!!
