AACCC Adoption of the Week: Meet Kamu

AnchorageNovember 6, 2013

Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of Brooke Taylor, AACCC public relations coordinator.

Here is Kamu, a 10 month old, neutered male, pit bull mix.  This dapper young fellow already knows to sit and shake, is kennel-trained, rides fine in the car, and has been to the dog park. He's lived with other dogs and with kids 5 to 12 years old. Focused, attentive, friendly and wants to please. Plenty of potential with this pup!  Special thanks to the Alaska SPCA for providing Kamu’s neuter surgery free of charge and reducing his adoption fee by $80!  Kamu can now be adopted for $72, which includes his MOA dog license, vaccinations, and microchip.

Adoption update: Rocky has been adopted. :)
