NAHL report: Fairbanks 3, Kenai River 1

Posted by DOYLE WOODY, on November 8, 2013

Small sample size, sure, but so far this NAHL season, the Fairbanks Ice Dogs have the measure of the Kenai River Brown Bears.

Fairbanks beat visiting Kenai River, 3-1, tonight to give the Ice Dogs a 3-0-0 record against their in-state rivals.

Of course, plenty of games left in the rivalry -- the teams clash 16 times this season, including six times from Nov. 29-Dec. 14.

Tayler Munson, Duggie Lagrone and Brett Gervais scored goals for Fairbanks tonight, and Lagrone added a helper. Fairbanks' Kevin Aldridge made 23 saves.
