Alice Cooper cancels Anchorage show due to 'scheduling conflicts'

Neither Alice or Dash Cooper will play Anchorage this December

Well, give the Cooper team credit for know what their draw was. The show that was spun as an Alice Cooper concert, but was actually a Dash Cooper concert, has now been canceled because Alice might not be able to make it for the "10-12 songs" he was on board to perform with his son's band.

The show was to be a fundraisers for Alice Cooper's Christian non-profit The Solid Rock Foundation, an arts program for needy children and teens.

Here's the media release sent out today:

Today Alice Cooper's Management and Chaos Productions announced the cancellation of the December 11, 2013 date at the Sullivan Arena due to unexpected scheduling conflicts.

"Alice Cooper's Solid Rock Presents Alice Cooper and Dash Cooper, with Co-Op, A Show to Benefit At Risk Teens in Anchorage, Alaska has unfortunately been cancelled due to an unexpected scheduling conflict,"  said a spokesman for Cooper.  "Because of some current unknowns in Alice's schedule, he was unable to fully commit to being at the show; therefore, the show had to ultimately be cancelled."

Tickets purchased online or by phones will automatically be refunded directly to the credit card used for purchase.  Tickets purchased at a Fred Meyer Ticketmaster Outlet can be refunded at the original place of purchase.  For tickets purchased at the Sullivan Arena Box Office, refunds will be available beginning on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 12Noon.  Sullivan Arena Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, 12 Noon to 4 PM.
