The AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers are really getting to include a touch of Alaska to them.

The Tigers have signed former Alaska Aces center Chris Langkow and former UAA winger Sean Wiles to professional tryout agreements.

Langkow owns 2-7--9 totals in 11 games for ECHL South Carolina this season and Wiles owns 3-1--4 totals in nine games with ECHL Reading.

Bridgeport already includes former UAA and Aces winger Justin Johnson of Anchorage, and former Aces foward Chris Bruton. Also, the assistant coach for the Tigers is former Aces forward Eric Boguniecki, and has another Aces connection with the part New York Islanders with Isles assistant coach Brent Thompson, the Aces bench boss who preceded Rob Murray.

Langkow and Wiles already are coming from teams with Alaska connections. South Carolina is coached by former UAA forward Spencer Carbery and includes former UAA defenseman Luka Vidmar. Reigning Kelly Cup champion Reading includes former Aces center Ethan Cox, former Aces winger Tyler Ruegsegger and defenseman Bryant Molle of Anchorage, who played at UAF, as well as former UAF defenseman Aaron Gens.
