He really was Nate The Great tonight

Don't know if he still has the same words on his lid, but former UAA goaltender Nate Lawson used to do his job with the words "Nate The Great'' written on his mask.

He never lack for confidence, that kid.

And he is often excellent.

Take tonight, when he backstopped the AHL's Binghamton Senators to a 4-2 win over Adirondack on the strength of 48 saves.

That improved Lawson to 7-1 with a 2.29 goals-against average and .934 save percentage.
