Aces: Looks like Taranto is out, Eddy is in

Judging from today's ECHL transactions, expect to see winger David Eddy make his home debut for the Alaska Aces tonight against the Las Vegas Wranglers at Sullivan Arena, and for rookie winger Andy Taranto to be in street clothes.

The Aces today activated Eddy and placed Taranto on reserve.

Eddy hasn't played in the last eight games because of a lower-body injury, which the guess here is what has shelved Taranto. Taranto blocked a shot in Friday night's 4-3 loss to the Wranglers and was hobbled.

Still sidelined for the Aces are veteran defenseman Sean Curry (lower-body injury), rookie defenseman Zach Davies (surgery, broken wrist) and veteran goaltender Gerald Coleman (offseason hip surgery).
