Prep hockey: Saturday's results

South 13, Bartlett 0

Croix Evingson scored a hat trick and eight of his teammates scored at least one goal apiece Saturday in South’s 13-0 shutout of Bartlett in a Cook Inlet Conference hockey game at Ben Boeke Arena.

Bryson Schmitz and Cayden Cayhill each scored two goals for the Wolverines, who outshot Bartlett 46-11.


Eagle River 6, Kenai 4

Kyle Johnson scored the game-winning goal and Kasey Clark provided insurance in the third period Saturday to propel Eagle River to a 6-4 nonconference hockey victory over Kenai.

The game was tied 4-4 after two periods at the McDonald Center. Johnson broke the tie less than three minutes into the third period and Clark scored with about six minutes left.

Justin Lopez stopped 25 shots for the Wolves, who fired 23 shots on two Kenai goaltenders.
