ECHL report: Ontario win puts idle Aces second in West

Posted by DOYLE WOODY, adn.com on November 22, 2013

While the Alaska Aces take this break in the ECHL schedule that feels like eternity -- OK, actually only something like 10 days between tilts -- they slipped into second place in the Western Conference tonight.

Ontario's 2-1 win over Bakersfield improved the Reign to 10-1-4, good for 24 points.

The idle Aces, who next play Wednesday at Colorado to open an eight-game road trip, are 11-3-0 for 22 points.

Ontario, obviously, has played one more game than Alaska.
