A poor start tonight hampered UAF, which fought its way back into a second-period tie before falling 4-3 at Ferris State in a WCHA game.

Ferris State went ahead 3-0 inside the first 12 minutes and the Nanooks, behind two goals and a helper from Cody Kunyk got back to even terms at 3-3 midway through the game before the Bulldogs scored and sent the Nanooks to their fourth loss in the last five matches.

Kunyk owns the team lead in goals and points with 9-4--13 totals in 12 games.

Defenseman Colton Parayko had one goal and one assist to give him 1-9--10 totals.
