Joni Ortio is putting up stupid numbers

Remember Joni Ortio, the Finn who played goal so excellently for the Alaska Aces to start the season?

He's doing even better, at least record-wise, in the AHL. He stopped 25 shots today to record his first AHL shutout and spearhead the Abbotsford Heat (Alaska's affiliate) to a 4-0 road win against the Iowa Wild.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but Ortio in the AHL is 9-0-0. He owns a 2.26 goals-against average and .928 save percentage, and those digits work.
