Punch thrown in Juneau road-rage encounter; man arrested

JUNEAU -- A Juneau man was taken into custody after a road rage incident on Thanksgiving Day.

Police Sgt. Chris Gifford tells KINY-radio that a 41-year-old man called to report another driver had confronted him regarding his driving shortly after 11:30 a.m. in a parking lot. The caller said the other driver punched him in the face.

Police later contacted and arrested 47-year-old Albert Garrison.

He was charged with assault and driving without a license. His vehicle was impounded.
