Foldager, Kirk win Turkey Trot races

Denali Foldager and Jacob Kirk seized the women's and men's titles, respectively, in the Turkey Trot 5-kilometer footrace around the Delaney Park Strip on Thanksgiving Day.

Foldager clocked 20 minutes, 3 seconds, for 3.1 miles to top Emma Bohman (20:21) and Kate Maker (20:37).

Kirk crossed in 16:26 to beat a couple of UAA assistant running coaches, Anthony Tomish (16:45) and T.J. Garlatz (17:01).

The race, which also featured a 2.5-K Mini-Trot, drew a combined 1,075 finishers.
