A single-vehicle accident on Seward Highway near O'Malley Road on Tuesday morning has slowed traffic on the highway's northbound on-ramp, according to Anchorage police.

Around 6:48 a.m., a detective arrived at the site of a rollover involving a Suzuki sport utility vehicle that had flipped onto its roof, said police spokeswoman Jennifer Castro. The detective removed the driver from the SUV, she said. The driver did not have critical injuries, according to police dispatch.

Castro said police are still investigating the cause of the rollover.

"At this point we're trying to get the vehicle towed out," she said.
