AnchorageDecember 3, 2013

After  an impressive performance in last week’s Carrs-Safeway Great Alaska Shootout, UAA’s Kiki Robertson was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference’s Red Lion Player of the week.

Robertson helped the women’s basketball team to a second-place finish in the four-team tournament, depositing 33 points in two games against Division I foes. She also secured 12 rebounds to go with 11 assists and 12 steals as the Seawolves beat UC Riverside in the first round and lost to Georgetown in the title game.

With GNAC play set to start this week, Robertson owns the highest assist and steal averages, posting 7.2 and 5.3 per game, respectively.

The Seawolves (5-1) host Montana State Billings on Thursday and Seattle Pacific on Saturday at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex.
