Former Aces Hughes, Ruegsegger on the move

Posted by DOYLE WOODY, on December 12, 2013

Former Alaska Aces center Bobby Hughes, whose rights the club traded to Fort Wayne in the offseason, is on the move again -- he was part of a five-player trade in the ECHL that shipped him to the Gwinnett Gladiators.

Hughes in 12 games for Fort Wayne put up 5-4--9 and -4 totals.

Also on the move is former Aces winger Tyler Ruegsegger, who AHL Hershey recalled from ECHL Reading. In eight games with Hershey, Ruegsegger has furnished one assist and a -2 rating. In nine games for Reading, he generated three helpers and a -3 rating.

Ruegsegger spent all last season with AHL Abbotsford, going 11-7--18 and -3 in 67 games.
