What would you do about the tennis courts issue that had deadlocked the Assembly for months?
Here are five options:
- Give the money back.
- Take the appropriation and use part of it to buy the Alaska Club just off Bragaw and fix up its tennis courts.
- Commit $4 million to the tennis courts (as Bill Starr wants to do) and the rest to ice arena upgrades.
- Commit either $7.2 million (Tim Steele) or $7.7 million (Mayor Sullivan) and build the center next to the Dempsey Anderson ice arena in Turnagain.
- Turn the tennis courts decision over to the voters (as Amy Demboski proposes).
