AnchorageDecember 13, 2013

South, Kodiak, Wasilla and Colony are the four remaining wrestling teams with a chance to win the Alaska 4A Dual Meet Championships at South High.

Sixteen teams from all over the state wrestled in the unofficial dual meet state championship. Colony knocked off West Valley and Lathrop in duals to earn a spot in Saturday’s semifinals against Wasilla, which defeated Eagle River and East.

On the other side of the bracket, South defeated Kenai and North Pole to earn a semifinal showdown with Kodiak, which eliminated West and Service along the way.

Both semifinal duals start at 10:30 a.m., with a championship dual scheduled for 3 p.m.
