Good news for former Ace Cohen; Idaho snaps him up

Posted by DOYLE WOODY, adn.com on December 15, 2013

One day after the Alaska Aces released defenseman Jason Cohen of Anchorage, the Idaho Steelheads claimed him off waivers -- the Aces were in Idaho, so perhaps Cohen never even split town.

Cohen played four games for the Aces after they snagged him out of the SPHL when they were particularly short of blueliners because of injuries and call-ups.

The Aces are scheduled to return home today from their eight-game roadie.

They open an eight-game homestand Wednesday with the first match in a three-game series against Utah.
