Olympic curler Schultz will make Sunday appearance

Anchorage Daily NewsDecember 19, 2013

Before she heads to Russia for the Winter Olympics, Anchorage curler Jessica Schultz will spend some quality time with fellow Alaskans.

Schultz will give lessons and sign autographs Sunday afternoon at the Anchorage Curling Club in Government Hill. She will be at the club from 1-5 p.m.

To take a lesson from Schultz, you'll need a clean pair of sneakers to wear on the ice and warm, loose-fitting clothes, including gloves and a hat. Lessons are $10.

Schultz, 28, is a member of the U.S. team that will compete in Sochi. She also competed in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy.
