Here's how the Aces stack up at the ECHL's one-third pole

The Alaska Aces' 5-1 win over visiting Utah tonight at Sullivan Arena marked Game No. 24 for the club in the 72-game grind that is the ECHL season.

That's the one-third pole, and the Aces are 16-7-1. 

And right now you no doubt are thinking: "OK, but how does that stack up against past Aces teams?''

Well, even if you aren't thinking that, we can tell you, so take your medicine. In the Aces 11 ECHL seasons, 16-7-1 (good for 33 points) ties their fourth-best mark to this point.

Here's the rundown, kids:

2012-13 – 18-6-0, 36 points

2011-12 – 18-4-2, 38 points

2010-11 – 14-9-1, 29 points

2009-10 – 11-11-2, 24 points

2008-09 – 16-7-1, 33 points

2006-07 – 16-8-0, 32 points

2005-06 – 18-3-3, 39 points

2004-05 – 12-10-2, 26 points

2003-04 – 14-8-2, 30 points
