Letter: Thanks to mystery treater

December 24, 2013

I just want to say thanks. My daughter is home on leave from the U.S. Marines. She was at IHop on Monday having lunch with some friends who recently graduated from Marine boot camp. They were laughing and sharing their experiences while in boot camp. Apparently a gentleman sitting nearby overheard them. When they were done with their meal and tried to pay their bill they found that the gentlemen sitting near them had paid their bill and asked the cashier to tell them thank you for their service.

As a father and a retired U.S. Air Force member, I just want to say thank you to this gentleman and everyone who goes out of their way to say thank you to our service members. It is much appreciated. God Bless!
