NAHL report: Brown Bears, Ice Dogs both fall on road

Posted by DOYLE WOODY, on December 27, 2013

Tough return from the Christmas break for Alaska's two NAHL clubs.

The Kenai River Brown Bears fell 2-0 on the road to the Minnesota Wilderness -- second time in three meetings this season Minnesota goaltender Kasimir Kaskisuo has bageled the Brown Bears. He made 20 saves tonight to run his stats to 15-5-4, 1.35, .948. Dude has eight shutouts, twice as many as any other masked man on the circuit.

Meanwhile, the Fairbanks Ice Dogs lost 4-2 on the road to the Bismark Bobcats in NoDak. On the bright side, UAA recruit Wyatt Ege of the Ice Dogs furnished two assists.
