Sled dog racing: Rasey starts with win

Kris Rasey was the top musher in the first points race of the Alaskan Sled Dog Racing Association's season, the New Year's Day races at Tozier Track.

Rasey won the eight-dog division, completing an eight-mile race in 26 minutes, 9 seconds -- 20 seconds ahead of Kourosh Partow (26:29). Morgan Summers, who raced with seven dogs, was third at 27:49.
