Erstwhile Ace Kremyr makes AHL debut

Congrats to erstwhile Alaska Aces alternate captain Jordan Kremyr -- the third-year pro made his AHL debut tonight.

Kremyr played for Alaska's affiliate, the Abbotsford Heat, in a 3-2 overtime win at San Antonio.

Also in the lineup for Abbotsford was erstwhile Aces defenseman Kane Lafranchise, who has now played 14 games for the club, going 0-5--5 and +5.

In goal for Abbotsford was Joni Ortio, who was briefly with the Aces early in the season. He made 31 saves to improve to 16-4-0 with a 2.30 and .922.

San Antonio winger Joey Crabb of Anchorage, the former NHLer who played with Lafranchise and Kremyr on the Aces last season before the NHL lockout ended, was -2. He's 4-7--11 and -7 in 32 games since the Florida Panthers shipped him to San Antonio.
