Green Bay, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy has been added to the Pro Bowl roster, replacing Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.

Peterson is unable to participate due to injury.

The 23-year-old Lacy set franchise rookie records this season for rushing yards (1,178), rushing touchdowns (11) and rushing attempts (284) and tied the team's rookie mark for 100-yard rushing games (four).

"I was extremely excited to hear that I am getting to go to the Pro Bowl after my rookie season," said Lacy. "I feel like it gives me a great opportunity to thank my teammates, especially the offensive line, and coaches, for working with me and helping me accomplish what I did on the field this year."
